Contemplation on Oyekun Obara

Hey.
<I’ll get it>
Excuse me.
<Not yet>
Sorry.
<Still figuring it out>
Watch it!
<I’m not always the fastest learner>
Ouch!
<You'd think i’d have seen that one coming>
Shit!
<Getting there…>
Whew….
<finally>

Amazing
how long it can take
to learn even the simplest of lessons
I suppose
that’s why they say
to err is human
to forgive
divine

PS
Don’t forget to
forgive
yourself

I am Awo Orunmila Oyekun Obara. I thought this was going to be some sort of explanation of the Odu

If you are an Awo Orunmila, then you will know that before Odu Ifa books in spanish, Odu Ifa was a set of memorized poetry of sorts, and it was the express job of the Awo to memorize those poems, and, in the context of divination interpret them.
